Our family of four – Steve, Megan, Olivine, and Zen – has recently moved from Alaska to Megan’s centennial family farm in central Illinois. What started years ago as a question (“what will happen to the family farm?”) has evolved into a desire to return to literal and figurative roots. It’s an experiment with joy and wellness. Using sustainable and biodynamic practices, we are establishing a perennial farm and art space. We presently grow specialty cut flowers and medicinals. Olivine and Zen host daily dance parties, support general chaos, laughter, and ridiculousness, and provide frequent reminders not to take life too seriously.
